Parents around the country are constantly nagging at their kids, “Make good grades or you won’t get into college.” Even though all kids should strive to make good grades, this does not necessarily guarantee their acceptance into a college. Today, the competition to get into these institutions is at an all-time high, and has led to profound problems across the socioeconomic and racial spectrum.
