ELA-51 Analytical essay

This realistic type book takes place in Green Lake, Texas. The Narrator is of a third person point of view. The main characters are Stanley Yelnats IV and Zero (Hector Zeroni). The major conflict is that Stanley must fight against the harsh environment and people at Camp Green Lake in order to declare his independence and finally free himself and his family from the curse that has been on them. Throughout the novel many themes come up like; the meaning of friendship, history in our lives daily, and strength to the end. Through out the novel it is shown that a true friend will always help you in your time of need.
