Animal Farm
Animal Farm, by, George Orwell should be read by future eighth graders, because it teaches a great lesson. When this book is read by soon to be eighth graders it is easy to understand the plot. It should be read because it portrays a lot heroism by one of the characters, the book teaches a great lesson that no body can forget, and the conflict is easily understandable by eighth graders.
The book setting is in southern England at one of the many farms. An old pig named Major tells the animals there, of one of his dreams. The dream shows all the animals free from human control, and the humans are gone. So gives the animals a dream of rebellion against the humans.
