When you hear the word Microsoft, what words come to mind? Words such as power, money, influence, intelligence, technology, and aptitude all describe this technological juggernaut. Microsoft is one of the richest corporations to ever exist and represents the best; it has implanted its name in the minds of people all over the world. Owned by the richest man in the world, Bill Gates, the sky is the limit.
In the summer of 2000, I started hearing rumors that Microsoft was to enter the videogame console industry and compete with Nintendo, Playstation and Sega. I was only 11 at the time, and my mind went wild. It seemed like the capabilities they had reached infinite bounds.
