This day and age brings along so much pain and agony
that people of all ages are expected to deal with. And in
the fast paced life that is lived, the time necessary to
emotionally deal with these things is almost impossible to
gain, not to mention the high costs of receiving medical
and psychological treatment. Thus, an escape from these
situations is ideal and is looked for by many. Turning to
drugs such as alcohol and marijuana along with numerous of
other more potent drugs is common among people young and
old to find peace in what's usually a very hectic life.
One reason for this is stated on the causes of drug abuse
webpage. It states, " The behaviorists believe that drug
abuse is not a genetic trait but instead a learned behavior"
