CAN A MACHINE KNOW?

Before starting to discuss whether a machine knows or not, we need to define what actually a machine is and what does it mean ''to know'' .A machine is ''a piece of equipment with moving part[s] that is designed to do a particular work''. One of the most sophisticated machines we have at this time is the computers and in most of the part of my essay I would refer to the computer as a machine. To know means ''to have information in your mind as a result of experience or/and because you have learned or been told it'' and 'to know' can also be understood as ''to realize or be aware of something''. The defination itself can be somehow misleading. There is huge difference in just having the information (or knowledge) and ''knowing'' it.
The machines may have the knowledge (information) but they do not ''know'' it. To claim that you...
