Religion is an issue in our society that impacts our entire world, and will continue to do
so over the next ten years. It seems every facet of our life is affected somehow by the power
religion has over our society. I think the area that is most influenced in our society is how
religion plays a part in politics. Religion in politics is an issue that affects societies all over the
world.
United States politics have been influenced by religion since the creation of our
democracy. Although our founding fathers understood the importance of separation of church
