This article explains the United States’ need for a new form of data encryption.
The old form of data encryption the United States still uses today was developed over
twenty years ago. Modern day computers and the knowledge that most international
terrorists have, far exceeds that of our current encryption standard. A lab in California
broke our nations encryption in just fifty-six hours. This just reiterates the fact that to
keep up national security we need to buff up our encryption standards. Many new
encryption codes have been introduced to our government. By the year two-thousand, it
is said that we will have a new encryption. The new encryption is still to be decided on.
