Petition to state legislators to fund Fresh Water Science School
We, the students of UWM believe that there should defiantly be a school of fresh water sciences. The study of fresh water sciences is critical to improving the scientific basis for environmental decision making such as sanitized drink water. Not only will the school encourage many that may not be aware of the problems with but this school will also make it possible to help in solving those problems through much needed research. Of course we understand that funding may be costly but surly it would be worth the planning and building of this school. This school will open up new opportunities for students from anywhere to take part in this research especially since the study of fresh water sciences is a growing problem with many areas of improvement.
