Hero
Brown hair and green eyes
When she looked into the mirror,
Her looks she had despised.
What was her problem? Why had she even felt that way?
Some things are left better unsaid,
Because emotions fall in the way.
And as she stares out her window and thinks about what she has done,
Thoughts pop into her head of how she can fix her problems before she regrets something she may become.
And the rain begins to fall as she makes her way to class.
It will be another one of those days, where time goes anything but fast.
Slow, slow...and slower...her eyes begin to close.
She can’t stay awake to her teacher's lecture.
Sleep always makes her depression show.
And the people around wonder why she acts this way all the time.
But every time they ask her, she says that she is fine.
