The beautiful country of El Salvador had an amazing history as well as government and geography. The national name of El Salvador is Repulica de El Salvador. These Central Americans are more than likely descendants of the Pipil Indians who are descendants of the Aztecs. The Pipil Indians likely migrated to the region in the 11th century.
The history of El Salvador is very interesting to read about. In 1525 , Pedro de Alvarado, a lieutenant of the Cortess, conquered El Salvador. El Salvador declared its independence from spain on September 15, 1821 and was apart of a federation of Central American states until that union dissolved in 1838. For decades after its independence, El Salvador experienced numerous revolutions and wars against other Central American republics.
