A BURGLAR

He wore a black suit, probably to hide himself in the shadows. I couldn’t see him very well because it was dark outside, but I could see that he was very strong and pretty tall. I was afraid to go closer to get a better look because he might have seen me. He used a crowbar to break open the door. He did it as quietly as possible. When the door was finally open, he crept into the house and closed the door behind him as quietly as possible. As I watched the house for a few minutes, I noticed that he didn’t switch any lights on. I quickly ran up to the house and peered into the window. Although it was nighttime, I could easily see what was going on inside the room. He appeared to be a smart and experienced burglar. He wore gloves to protect his hands from leaving any finger prints and little black shoes that wouldn’t leave any marks behind. From where...
