12 Angry Men

Euthanasia and the poisoning of people has been a part of human civilization for as long
as history records. Euthanasia is the intentional act of killing for his or her benefit. The debate
on euthanasia and the pros and cons and the controversial aspect about it has made it a
big topic among people.
Euthanasia has been used for many occurrences. And the most common probably being
the death penalty, for convicts who have been committed for violent crimes.   For this aspect of
euthanasia I really am more lenient on. Some of those people I believe, that have committed
violent crimes on people, deserve the death penalty and have run out of second chances,
as harsh as that sounds. Death penalty has been a part of government for as long as
government’s been around and still today sparks issues.
More so I think that sparks outrage and debate is the euthanasia of people because
of a medical condition. This is more so a touchy subject to delve into because it’s hard to justify
what should be done. There have been stories over the past couple of years of people that have
gotten into accidents and are technically brain dead but have been able to stay alive due to
technology. It really is hard to justify where to come from on such a topic because we don’t
have the right to justify if we can take their life or not and because you can’t treat everyone the
same.   Me personally if I were to get in some accident tomorrow and be brain dead and only
be able to stay alive on machines, I would not want to live that way. But I don’t think it is
right for someone else to decide whether or not they should live or not. But honestly I think
if unless you have their permission that they would want to stay alive in a situation like

where you are on life support then you respect their wishes but if not who really knows what
should be done. Also for the fact that keeping you in such a state for the rest of that persons
life would cost hundreds...
