Insanity is the condition of being insane and the derangment of mind. In Street Car Namd Desired by Tennessee Williams one of the main characters Blanche Dubois surffers from insanity. “The state of your life is nothing more than the state of your mind”. Blanche Dubois is th perfect example of this quotation. Blanche’s life is filled with nothing but tragedy and hardships. She dealt with these hardships in a destructive and negative w`ay, causing her more tragety and hardships in her life. In the end, the destructive manner and hardships in her life costs Blanche her sanity. In the play Blanche’s super objective, a fabircated facid, is to find a man to renew her again. Throughout the play a train of events caused Blanche’s super objective to decline and crumble. Events such as; moving in with her sister Stella, trying to marry mitch and writing love letters to Shep Huntleigh.
Blanche Dubois lived in Laurel, Mississippi her whole life and was customed to the finer things in life. Unfotuanelty she cannot cope with life outside of Laurel and her her refusal to com out of a time warp and cope with the real world makes her personality unrealistic and flighty. When Blanche looses her family mansion and fourtune she is forced to move to New Oreleans wih her sister Stella Kowalski.   Arriving to New Orleans Blanche tried to escape from her hopeless way of life and to be taken out of poverty. She arrives with what appears to be expensive clothes and jewlery. All of which appears to be cheap and just another attemp to hide begind her fabricated fascid. Stella’s husband Stabley sees right through her lies and cheap clothing and tries to uncover the truth about Blanche. When she discovers what Stanley is trying to do, she then changes her reasons for moving in with Stella. She now is there in Stella’s house to persuade her sister her husband is a bad man.
In the mean time, of warning Stella of Stanley, Blanche takes interest in one Stanley’s friends Mitch....
