INTRODUCTION

  This Correction Officer Examination Preparation and Practice Booklet has been developed to help you prepare for the written portion of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Correction Officer Examination. This booklet covers material for the written examination only. The written test will consist of 80 multiple-choice questions designed to measure six abilities that are important to the performance of the correction officer job. This booklet is divided into two major sections which include some test-taking strategies, sample answer sheet, a procedure to analyze errors, and a practice examination.
