ALBERT EINSTEIN
Albert Einstein was born March 14, 1879 Ulm, Württemberg, Germany. Einstein was the son of Hermann and Paulina Koch Einstein. When Albert Einstein was five years old, his dad showed him a pocket compass. Albert was so impressed by the mysterious behavior of the compass needle which kept pointing to the same direction no matter where he would turn it. Later on he said to his dad that he felt something deeply hidden had to be behind things. After public school in Munich and in Aarau, Switzerland, Einstein studied Math and physics at the Swiss Polytechnic Institute in Zurich. Einstein graduated in 1900. From 1902 to 1909, he worked as an examiner at the Swiss Patent Office in Bern. The job Einstein had allowed him a lot of free time so it helped Einstein to spend it in scientific investigations.
