America’S Responsibility To The World

America is one of the few high-power nations in the world, so that leaves a little room to be selfish. If America ever needed help, we would look to other countries that we have assisted for help during our crisis. So as Americans, we are more fortunate and have the ability to assist those in other countries who have suffered a crisis. I believe that as Americans we have a duty to help other countries in need because it is the morally correct course of action, and it is an action that results in the greater good of humanity.  
To begin with,   America has a responsibility to the world to influence moral leadership. We must show the world how a free society behaves, and that a world based on democracy has nothing to fear. Furthermore, America has a lot to offer the citizens of the world because of our belief and commitment to human rights.   America is able to bring new thoughts and technologies into the world and improve everyone’s living conditions since we are the world's creative engine. By sharing our beliefs and technologies, we can influence the world in a positive manner.
Part of America’s responsibility to the world, as its wealthiest nation, is to help increase economic development in other countries.   For example, the Islamic world in   the Middle East, has a many different views and ideas and it is crucial for national security reasons to help them. The Islamic madrassas create armies of new terrorists by teaching a hateful ideology, so with America’s quality, secular schools and education structure we could give the people of the Middle East some real hope, an opportunity at joining the world economy instead of turning to terrorism. This would save America money compared to what it has cost us for the Iraqi War.   If America fails to assist the Middle East with education and training we would be irresponsible and foolish. Finally, if we can spare the resources, Americans should have a responsibility to give resources to countries in case of...
