Andorra is a country in Europe. It is a region with narrow valleys and mountain peaks that can be as tall as 2700 km. The largest stream in this country is the Valira River. This land has many iron and lead deposits and marble quarries. Andorra has many pine and birch forests, which are found on the mountains. Some low-lying areas have pasture land where sheep graze. Andorra has no railroad or airport but it does have an excellent road system.
Andorra has a total border length of 125 km. Since Andorra rests between two large countries, it does not have a coast line. It does, however, contain many mountainous regions and valleys for skiing. This is one of Andorra’s largest industries. This country also has many other ways to raise revenue from the resources. Some of these are: hydropower, mineral water, lead, and large deposits of the materials needed to make iron ore.
Being very close to the same Latitude as Pennsylvania, Andorra also has a temperate climate. A temperate climate basically means that they have cold winters, and cool, dry summers. As far as Land use goes, only 2% is Arable land, none of the land is adequate for raising crops, roughly 22% is woodland, 56% meadows and pastures, and the remaining 20% is used for various other things.
