In the story “Animal Farmâ€, the fourth commandment says, “No animal shall sleep in a bed.â€, yet the pigs were. The pigs started changing rules or rewording them. They were eating in the kitchen; they lived in houses, and were sleeping in beds. Even though rules were being changed what the animals can do. The pigs were the most trusted and loyal.
The seventh commandment says, “All animals are equal.†The first commandment says, “Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy.†The pigs change a lot throughout the story. They are pretty much becoming humans. Although the animals aren’t allowed to eat in the kitchen they were anyways. They were using the kitchen as a recreation center. When the animals started to find out they weren’t too happy about the news.
The other rule they changed was, animals shouldn’t sleep in beds. They changed it where no animals should sleep in beds with sheets. They had Muriel read the fourth commandment and she said “no animal shall sleep in beds, with sheetsâ€. The animals believed them, even though they don’t remember the fourth commandment saying that before. The other animals really had no say in a lot of things it was mostly the pigs.
Animals are meant to live outside. The pigs yet they moved into the farmhouse. They pretty much had life of humans. They were reading, writing, eating, and sleeping in beds. It’s not normal to see animals live in a house and do things humans do.
Yet the pigs changed a lot just like the rules changed, they pretty much evolved into humans. At the end of the story the pigs started walking on their hind legs. There was a saying, “four legs good, two legs bad.†Now the saying goes, “four legs good, two legs betterâ€. At the end there was only one commandment it read, “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than othersâ€. If you were to look the pigs you wouldn’t be able to tell they were animals because they acted like humans.
