Abstract
Networking and system administrators enjoy a very rewarding career. This is because they receive a great salary compared to the work that is done. The work that they perform is not physically demanding at all. Lastly, the demand for their services is off the charts. They are in demand in every job market in the world. Choosing to pursue this career takes a lot of hard work. In that it is harder than most careers to break into the field but once there you will immediately begin to reap the rewards of all of your hard work.
Introduction
As part of a research project I propose to write about the elements I evaluated for becoming a network and systems administrator. I have been around computers since I was a child. I watched my older brother grow into a very computer savvy young man. He has worked for some of the leaders in the computer industry since I can remember. Therefore, it was easy for me to find a passion for computers that lay dormant in me for much of my life. Until recently, I was rarely excited to use a computer but since then I have found that I am well equipped to use my talent to pursue a career that can provide a better life for my family and I.

The benefits of this career choice includes job demand, a nice salary, and the ability to work almost anywhere in the world. Not to mention, most of the job requirements can be met from the comfort of your own home. The demand from companies seeking young IT professionals specifically network and systems administrators is almost unmatched. Therefore, there will always be a job for them to do.
