ARTICLE ON CORRUPTION
In India, corruption is something we all learn to live with or rather shall I say we are living with. But wait! Before I comment on it, I think I need not be resigned to it or cynical. Instead of crying over the sorry state of affairs, let's explore the solutions - If there are any. Maybe there are no satisfactory answers to any of our questions in this context. But, Let's ask them anyway and explore for any answer so that we can try to lessen it if can’t eradicate it.

Again, the question is what are you getting by comparing ourself with our neighbouring country rather than trying to eradicate it. Most of the blame should be put on the bureaucrats of India. There are enough funds available in India, there are enough special schemes introduced in India every now and then. But corruption is literally under every stone you turn, It is also in every alley you turn into, every nook and cranny you might care to peep into. Why do we separate ourselves from the system? Don't we, once we turn to the voting age, going vote the corrupt to power? And then, we crib. Or once we turn major we don’t vote only still we crib.
While, whether we can curb corruption or not is a highly debatable issue, lack of transparency can be singled out as the largest factor that provides an ideal breeding ground for corruption. Crores and crores from development projects are siphoned off annually to Swiss bank accounts before anybody notices anything...
