As your Prime Minster my platforms to help improve Canada are firstly to expand the health care by hiring and training more doctors and nurses as 57% of Canadians wait anywhere from 4 weeks to longer to see a specialist, 24% of Canadians wait 4 hours or longer in the emergency room and this is not right. Also lowering the cost of prescription so we can all afford it and adding dental to Ontario Health Insurance. Secondly I will recover job opportunities that where lost and at the same time I will stop jobs from disappearing and going overseas. And lastly I will increase public transit, making it safer for users, no more delays making you late, I think it is time to fix problems with GO train that should have been fixed a long time ago. I want to make true changes to Canada and the people.

You should not have to wait to see your doctor and that is if you were able to get to one as five million Canadian do not have a family doctor and one million are on the waiting list for one. I want to improve the health care so you do not have to wait in line to see your family doctor when you want too. I think everyone should be able to see a doctor no more having to wait on a list and those with more money should not be able to jump the line. I plan on hiring and training more nurses and doctors and keeping them, I am going to improve the working conditions for nurses by cutting their work hours and rising the pay. In 2007 it cost Canada's economy $14.8 billion because we had people waiting longer than they needed too for treatment or surgery.   The cost of health care is rising quicker then you can get a pay raise is. You should not have to pay so much for prescription drugs because of that I plan on reducing the cost of prescriptions drugs so that everyone can get the drugs they need and without making you broke.
