Abstract


How Assumptions, Beliefs and Behaviors Characterized Our School Systems
It is my understanding that behaviors, beliefs and assumptions are connected together to form clusters or grouping creating an impression on the way we see things, our cultures and organizations which create our society. Everything starts during the early years of our lives. We are shaped in every individual form by those that surround us each day. They still beliefs which influence are assumptions and make us act in many different behaviors considering the situation.
Parents, teachers, as well as our community have the greatest involvement in teaching those groups. As parents we try to instill profound values and concrete beliefs in our children...so as to start the beginning of their education. As teachers we found ourselves being part of those children’s lives for approximately 12 years. So we found ourselves creating methods of teaching, which based on our background, we feel they are the best way by which our students will learn. On the other hand, is the community which in so many ways educates our children utilizing certain methods which may not be the best depending on its socio-economical level. In so many cases, their economical level has on the greatest impact in our children’s education, therefore, we must be work together in order to better provide an environment where our children will not have to face many obstacles nor distractions. A place where learning is not only fun but it is also a place where it understood by everyone that hard work pays off.
