Pay attention to Detail, a Skill Everyone Must Master.
There are many skill that people learn throughout their lifetimes, some come naturally while
others are have to be learned. Many skills are important to daily life and some are crucial to daily life,
for example the ability to pay attention to detail. Paying attention seems like it's a given, everyone
pays attention, but many people don't pay attention to details. There are many things in life that can be
overseen when people don't slow down to pay attention.
During a conversation when a person asks someone if everything is okay and the person
responds “I'm fine†with a smile, that may mean that person is fine. If the person responds “I'm fineâ€
with their arms crossed and rolls their eyes, that may mean that person is not really fine. If the person
who asked the question was not paying attention to all the details, the “I'm not really fine†could have
been missed. This is one example of how personal or professional relationships can suffer when a
person fails to pay attention to detail. Many people don't listen, watch or care about the small things in
life. If all people would learn to pay attention to details, everyone would be amazed at what you can
learn about people's habits, preferences, body language and the things left unsaid. Also, People would
become better friends, colleagues, and family members.
Paying attention to detail also plays an important roll in safety. The news recently talked about
a purse snatcher in my area who would snatch the purse from women in parking lots. Authorities
warned women to be familiar with their surroundings and to keep their purses on their shoulders, not in
the basket. Many of the women who became victims simply left the store looked for their cars and
