Beauty is often defined as, “Qualities that ignite the senses and exalt the mindâ€. I personally believe there is no concrete way of defining beauty. No one’s eyes interpret beauty the same. To analyze and fully appreciate something, to me, is pure beauty.
There are many things that someone could think is beautiful. It could be found in nature or in your everyday life. It all depends on who you are and what you believe in. It doesn’t even have to be something physical. I myself love things found in nature. I think anything outside can be beautiful. I love the way certain trees look, standing so tall and strong. I love the beach and the waves crashing and the feel of the sand beneath your feet. I also think the rain is beautiful. The way it relaxes me and the sound it makes hitting the window. There’s something about being all cozy and warm, sitting on your couch just watching the rain out the window. The most beautiful thing I think I love about nature is sunsets. Everyday I make it a point to watch the sun go down. There’s something about all the colors that light up the sky that just takes my breath away. I love being in the mountains because I think it makes it that much more beautiful.
Beautiful things can also be found in you everyday life, that don’t involve nature. It could be a quilt someone owns, maybe something a person collects, like baseball cards, or even a person. I believe spending quality time with my family is beautiful. We don’t even have to be doing anything. Sitting around talking about our days is beauty to me. I love when my son smiles or laughs about the littlest things, whether it be a toy or he’s actually being tickled. I also think my husband is beautiful. That may seem weird but it’s true. Not just his personality is beautiful, but his actions. Being in the military and my husband being gone for most of our son’s life, I think it’s beautiful the time they spend together.
