Compare and Contrast Of Before and After Being a Parent
Being a parent changed my life. Turning from single and becoming a parent changes anybodies life. Whether this is planned or a surprise you are in for a big change. People offered there advice and tried to explain to me what it would be like being a mother. Wile this might of helped at the beginning to prepare me it never totally made me aware of the changes that where coming. The first time I looked in to my child’s eyes, I understood what the meaning of the words unconditional love met. This was one of the first changes I experience being a mother.
From the first day I brought my son “Sebastian†home I experienced change. I was terrified; he was so small and fragile. I did not sleep, because I could not stop watching him all night; I thought he was going to stop breathing. I had a white kitty cat, I wanted to keep her, but of course I had to give her up for adoption because she was getting jealous of the baby; going to the kitchen and knocking the milk bottles in the floor. That was the first thing I had to give up. It takes a wile to get use to the transition, after I understood what it was like being a parent, how much I loved my son and how happy I was being a mother, that’s when I started enjoying.
Before I had my Sebastian, I was able to stay up late at night and sleep late during the weekends. After having my son Sebastian this has completely changed, he wakes up every morning at 5:30 or 6:00 am, opens my eyes with his fingers and says “its morning time already†with a story book in his hands and wanting me to feed him breakfast. After he eats his breakfast and listens to his story book, he is all ready to go out somewhere; goes to his closet and starts selecting the alfeat for the day.
