Benjamin Franklin's autobiography

Franklin, indeed, was one of the cornerstones of America. Not only was he an excellent author, but he was also a scientist, a politician, and a diplomat. What was remarkable about him was that, Franklin didn’t come from a prominent or a rich family – he had started from a scratch. His success, his accomplishments, and everything that he had, those were mainly from his own endeavor.
At a very young age, Franklin had experienced a lot of things which eventually shaped his own character. At the age of 8, he had been put in a grammar school; at the age of 10, Franklin had started to work under his father; at the age of 12, he had worked under his brother; and at the age of 17, he had left abode to seek a new life in a new city, 300 miles away from his home. From then on, the roller coaster ride of Franklin’s life had really begun. But, how did he manage to pull it off together? Sure it was not a wish-upon-a-star fairytale kind of life for Franklin. Yet, who would have thought that Franklin’s utmost success was possible? Who would have thought that a kid who was just very fond of reading and learning would independently walk to the path of triumph?
Based from his autobiography, Franklin had pointed out several factors which actually helped him in his journey. First, he had sincerely acknowledged God through saying that, “…I owe the mention’d happiness of my past life to his kind providence, which led me to the means I us’d and gave them success…” Next, he had mentioned the two books named “Essays on Projects” and “Essays to do Good”, which he said, “…had an influence on some of the principal future events of my life.” And of course, he had also stated about the techniques he had developed; the constant practice that he did in order to perfect something (e.g. writing); the lessons that he had learned from the mistakes that he did, which he termed as his Errata; and the people who supported him along the way.
