People are in search for a more renewable resource other than the non-renewable resources that we are using up today, like our earths natural fossil fuels. Our country is oil dependant and it is becoming worse as time goes on. Our habit of depending upon crude oil so much could cost us very much as it endangers the environment and helps to destroy the economy. Bio-diesel is a revolutionary fuel source that can help to fix our countries economy and the world’s environment.
Countries depend on each other too much for others resources, such as oil. The United States is dependant upon foreign oil. Being this dependant upon other countries can cause numerous strikes and economy failure. There are also wars that can be caused because of some holes being drilled into foreign ground. This had a great impact on the attack of September 11th 2001.
In developing Bio-Diesel researchers have been looking for ways to make alternative fuels that could provide a net energy gain, have environmental benefits with fighting pollution, be economically competitive, and be producible in large quantities without reducing countries food supplies. In my research of bio diesel and personal experience with using it in my own vehicle, I have found that there are quiet a few advantages of using it. Bio-Diesel Is not only good for keeping the amount of air pollution low it is also good for your vehicle and your wallet too. Bio-diesel is about seventy percent cheaper to manufacture than refining crude oil to make diesel, which means you can save a lot of money depending upon where your fuel comes from. Scientists in December took four thousand pounds of inedible turkey guts and refined them into five hundred barrels of oil. Researchers are finding new ways to help with our economy and our fuel problem everyday.
