My name is Darius N. Chapman, I was born in a town known as Pocatello, Idaho on November 23, 1989 to the parents of Vernon (Vern) John Chapman and Lucinda (Cindy) Neff. I have two older brothers of whom I grew up with, and seven others I have not met. I had a really great life till recent. I had two loving parents who cared only about their children and a family that always stuck together.
Growing up, I was always the reliable one, which has not changed. In 1998, my parents had separated but still kept in touch for their children’s sake. My father was transferred from the Union Pacific Railroad to work in Desoto, Missouri, but my mother wanted us to stay in the same school district, she believed that it was better for us. After the divorce my father became a heavy drinker but still managed to keep his job. In 2003, my mother had been diagnosed with cancer. She was giving up at first but then soon realized she must fight the “illness†(that is what she called it) for her kids.
After I had found that my mother had been diagnosed with cancer, I grew up even more. I had took care of my mother, proved her with the necessities and made sure my brothers went to school every day and helped them with the things that my mother would. In 2004, my mother had been getting sicker. My mother had then decided that she wanted to get some help, so she sent us to my father in Missouri, not knowing that he had remarried to Debbie Whittier.
On July 4, 2007, my mother had passed away. This was hard on my brothers and I. I was just staring my senior year in high school. On July 6, 2007, our grandfather had passed away from a stomach tumor that had not been established. This was the same time our family had went their separate ways.
I graduated on May 23, 2008 from Desoto Senior High School with a GPA of 3.7. I then had decided to start college and make something out of myself. I attended ITT Tech to obtain my associates in web design, soon to find out that this was not the...
