Instructions: Complete one of the following tasks:

TASK A   Characteristics of Life Paper

Using three different sources (your textbook plus 2 others), define the characteristics of life.

List the characteristics as described in each source. Then consolidate them to create your own list
(so you should have 4 separate lists of the characteristics of life).

Be sure to describe what each point means (i.e. tell what homeostasis means, don't just list the word).

Remember to cite your sources.

TASK B   Chemical Bonds Paper

Describe the 5 types of chemical bonds/interactions and put them in order of decreasing strength (strongest to weakest). Be sure to include examples of each type.   You must include graphics showing each type of bond.

TASK C   Hydrogen Bonding InWater Paper

Explain the behavior of water molecules and the role hydrogen bonds play in that behavior.

When and how does water become gas?

When and how does water become solid?

Why does ice float?

Be sure to note the important temperature points.

How does this behavior of water affect the environment?

What can keep water from freezing at the freezing point?

Create a Youtube video explaining transpiration.

The video must be a minimum of 10 minutes long and you will need to incorporate a variety of graphics and statistics. . Be sure to cite references for any data you present.   Attach a file showing the link to your video in the dropbox.
