The two dilemmas I faced, as the quality control was the Case of Fair Warning and the Case of Stringent Standards. Each case provided ethical issues that I was research and address.
Case of Fair Warning:
In this case it was brought to my attention that a product was shipped to stores before the lab tests came back. These tests show a trace contaminant in all of the samples.   While the amount was well below FDA standards it was against our internal standards.   First I had to determine who the stakeholders were, and my duties to them.   At first I would have suggested to recall all the products that would have been disastrous to our reputation.   After using the Rights/Responsibilities lens I was able to determine what duties I owed to the stakeholders.   Then I used the Results lens to determine how much each stakeholder would be affected by the decision I made.   Based on my findings I suggested to disseminate information about increased risks for certain groups and offered to replace to refund any purchased product.   By doing this the cost of replacing or refunding contaminated product will likely have a direct trade-off of increased consumer good will.

Case of Stringent Standards:
In this case the FDA has changed their standards and it directly affects our product. We have already manufactured many of the product and the dilemma is weather to try and sell the product overseas or to dispose of the product.   At first look morally and ethically one would say to dispose of the product.   This would cost the company money and make stockholders upset and cause consumers reason to be alarmed.   Using the Reputation lens and the Relationship lens I came to two different conclusions, with the Relationship lens I chose to apply U.S. safety standards to all sales.
