Many people would not know how to describe themselves and would rather have someone else describe them. I am very interested in your university and would very much be honored if you considered me to be part of it. I believe I would be a great student that you would not regret accepting. I am planning to major in nursing and I am very motivated to pursue it.
            Nursing has been my interest since I was in elementary school along with other dreams such as being a cop, hair stylist, and a soccer star. The careers that I have just stated have a couple things in common; you must be on your feet and aware at all times. These are just two out of the many reasons why I decided I want to become a successful nurse. If you want to be a nurse you must be very patient with different kinds of people. I could be very patient knowing that I have a job and I know somewhat how it is like to deal with people, either extremely kind or just rude. For instance, I was working late one night and we had many customers and most were not so kind. I remained calm and I dealt with many problems and complaints that customers had while my manager was stressing with many other problems that night. Mentioning that, I believe I could work very well under pressure. Patients at a hospital like to know that they will be taken care of. As for myself I love to help people out and let them know they are being well taken care of and protected. I had my share of complications with peers because all I wanted to do was to help out people and let them know I am there for whatever they need and many did not appreciate it. Being a nurse I would be able to help as much as I can to others and for an excellent cause. Knowing that I am a Latina I would like to inspire others to also become involved in the medical field. Once my grandma went to the hospital and my relatives had to translate because the nurses and doctors there did not know how to communicate with her because she only knew Spanish. I do not...
