Abstract
Marketing Focus for Kudler Foods
In this Marketing focus for Kudler Fine foods we are going to discuss five different topics. These topics are; potential technology solutions to specifically support the customer contests, loyalty points programs, purchase tracking, benchmarking of internal versus external service processes, and management of inventory and related costs. Also within these topics we will talk about concepts such as consumer databases and CRM systems (customer relationship management).
Potential Technology Solutions to support customer contests
Potential technology solutions that can be used to support customer contests could be a wide range of all sorts of things. One could be creating an online survey that consumers can take to be entered into a contest that will win them a one day class in the store that consists of preparing specialty foods with world renowned chefs, local celebrities, other food experts and even Kathy Kudler herself. Also this winning package would include invites to exclusive and upscale events.
To talk more on the technology end of it, after the survey is taken and submitted it will be put into an online database. At the end of each week or each month a program will be run against this database to randomly pick a survey that was submitted and the name that is on that survey will be the winner for this contest. With these simple little programs that are written it will save money and time. This gives the consumer something to look forward to and Kathy Kudler free advertising by word of mouth. Also, having celebrities and food experts come to her store it will help put her on the map for other celebrities to come and be a part of this class.
