Virtual collaboration has become vital to many corporations in today’s high-tech, high-speed,
business global environments. These collaborations involve many networks, multiple sites,
time zones, continents, cultural influences, along with an infinite number of personalities
with a wide range of professional backgrounds. Virtual teams encourage new ideas;
they reduce the time between developments of a new product for market ready
distributions; especially for new products in any industry.
The primary interest or dependant variable as defined in my readings (Bougie &
Sekaran, 2008), there is evidence that this global virtual collaboration yields benefits to
there is a reduction in manufacturing cost. This criterion variable overcomes great
