Apple Business Analysis
Previously a mutual funds manager was tasked with a job that involved creating a SWOT analysis on Apple Incorporated. This SWOT analysis would help determine if Apple Incorporated would be a wise investment. To assist in making the correct decision, the mutual funds manager evaluated the organization’s income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow to determine the health of the company. Still wanting to make the best decision possible, the mutual funds manager must review the strategic initiatives taken by Apple Incorporated relative to organizational and operational adaptation to changing markets. After completing this evaluation, the manager will have an overall business analysis to support her decision on whether or not to invest in Apple Incorporated.
Recent Economic Trends
The dismal state of the economy makes the performance of Apple Incorporated all the more impressive. While many Americans are struggling to remain employed, Apple Incorporated is struggling to keep new products on the shelves (Elliott, 2011). Apple products have drawn customers in with products people can rely on. The company focuses on conquering the technological market by bringing new solutions to people both on a domestic and international level. User friendly products help capture the attention of customers both young and old (Elliot, 2011).
Strategies the Company Uses/Tactics
Apple’s strategic consistency allows customers who already have an Apple product to obtain a visual idea of what type of new product they will be purchasing. This customer satisfaction has customers waiting outside stores in the early morning hours. Apple’s plan to reconnect the world with new products and services is one of the company’s main goals (Elliot, 2011).
