Capstone Discussion Question
According the Federal Trade Commission Act all advertising must be truthful must have evidence to back up claims and can not be unfair. Many advertisements find loopholes in the law to sell their product. The biggest advertisement that I feel to be deceptive most of the time are mail advertisements. I refer to this mail as “junk mail” that I receive several times a week. There are car advertisements that state someone has won a car and the attached key is the key that opens the door to my brand new car. Another recieved quite often is the you have won X amount of dollars but in very small print it states that an item has to bought or be the first to call of X amount of people. If anyone were to do their research they would see Africa is a very modern continent. Any place one may go no matter how wealthy the country there is going to be a small population that is poor. A long...
