Cars: Building Blocks towards Independence

There is one day in a teenager’s life that catapults beyond any others. The day when you finally feel that you are no longer a child. No more waiting for mom to take you to the mall or waiting an hour at the movie theater because your parents forgot to pick you up. Yes, indeed the most glorious day of my life is when I received my first car, glistening in the sun; the color is black as a night with no moon. I have finally arrived to the world of independence.
At this time in my life I didn’t care what my car looked liked as long as I could ride away to my desired destinations. The first day I looked upon my car I was in total shock my heart was racing and I couldn’t stop smiling, never in a million years would I think that my first car would be a brand new Mitsubishi Eclipse. She was the most beautiful car I had ever seen. Of course the car was black a color no car can look bad in. On the outside it had custom dark tinted windows and a sleek sunroof at the top. The inside is painted with grey, a grey dash board and grey suede bucket seats as well as the air filled with the distinguished aroma of a new car. All around the car carried nine speakers and a ten inch subwoofer placed in the trunk of the car for that extra “boom” effect when listening to a favorite song.
My first car is a   most prized possession. The simplest tasks can be exciting. To most people in the world the chore of getting gas for their car can be a dread and a dislike. But when it is your first car filling up your gas tank can be an adventure. Going up to the pump, pulling off the cover and squeezing the cold steel fuel lever means I have finally made it to the world of independence and responsibility. Of course when you have just purchased your new car you always want it to look good. And the one thing that makes my car look perfect is a good old car wash. Yes, I always tend to get wet while washing the car but in the end when im gazing...
