Classroom Management with Technology

Rules & Expectations


1. Be mindful and respectful of your peers and your teacher
2. NO GUM, FOOD, OR DRINK
3. Be in your seat at your computer when the bell rings.
4. Use hand sanitizer before you begin using the computers.
5. DO not roll around, spin, and/or bounce in your chair.
6. Use your feet to walk from one place to another.
7. Raise your hand if there is a problem with your computer. Please do not yell out!!
8. You must listen during class. I will answer questions but only if you have shown me that you are attentively listening.
9. All assignments must be saved with your Lastname_Assignment Name in the appropriate document folder.
10. Assignments must be turned in to receive credit.
11. Late work must be made up and turned in within a week from the due date or it will not be accepted.
12. If you are absent, you are responsible for making up your work.   You can make up work:
a. Before or after school study hall
b. Friday Morning
c. Recess—this should be your last option. Don’t assume that you can come in whenever you want at recess.
13. Plagiarism is unacceptable.   All work must ALWAYS be correctly cited.
14. Keyboard covers, binders, headphones, and chairs must be neatly put away and pushed in before you leave class.
15. You must have your flash drive in class every day.   We use them frequently.
16. Bathroom- Bathroom- You will be given four bathroom passes. You must have the bathroom in order to use the restroom or leave the classroom.
17. Recess Passes—You must fill out a pass that can be found in the front of the room. The day has to be approved by me.
18. Warnings—Three warnings=teacher detention for being disrespectful, rolling around in chairs, or anything else deemed unacceptable.
19. Website-
a. Please check the website when you are absent from school, before you ask me.
b. If you misplace any handouts, please print them from the website.
c. Master Key minutes must be made up when you are absent.
