Club IT is a six hundred square foot facility. It has a two hundred square foot dance floor. It has seating for two hundred people. It is equipped with a kitchen for appetizers and small orders and a bar with four pour stations. According to the Club IT website, “Its high ceilings and high energy lighting creates an ambience of fun and energy”.
Club IT is both owned and managed by Ruben Keys and Lisa Tejada. Both Keys and Tejada graduated college with degree in Business Administration in 2000. While they were in college, they also honed their nightclub experience by working as musicians. After graduation, they decided to open their own nightclub.
The mission of Keys and Tejada’s nightclub is stated quite simply, "We, Ruben and Lisa, offer you live music, DJ's, dance space and refreshments that suit your lifestyle. You are our friends, and we seek to build a community that meets regularly at Club IT."
Club IT uses information technology to manage the club. On the Club IT website are several menus for that are beneficial to both employees and clientele. When you enter the website as a guest you will find several tabs. Visitors can choose from Club IT Music, Dining and Menus, Merchandise, Club IT staff, Club Layout, and an Employee Portal.
Under Club IT music, visitors will find a listing of upcoming featured acts broken down by month as well as the type of music the club focuses on. When a visitor clicks the Dining and Menus link, they will find both the Club IT drink lists and the Club It appetizers menu. The Merchandise tab is self explanatory.
