Question 1: What learning similarities and differences are apparent in the different CheckPoint responses?

1. The learning similarities and differences are that each indiidual has his/her own way of taking in information and learning. Some people learn better through visual aids, others through being part of a group. Some people learn better being by themselves, others through association with something that they are good at, such as music or the ourdoors. We take the best way that we know how to absorb the information we are trying to learn, and we apply it, using our own individual strengths and trying to inforce our weaknesses.

Question 2: What is the importance of knowing your personal learning strengths in addition to those of your classmates?
Knowing your personal strengths are what you use to "draw on". It is your ability to take in what you are trying to learn and the different means of taking in the knowledge. We need to also understand that we all have different ways of learning, that no two people learn the same way. We are all born with our own ability to learn and we then find out which way works best for us as individuals.

Question 3: How can this knowledge be beneficial to collaborative work completed in an online learning environment?

It can be beneficial in the way that each person brings is own learning style into the mix. What one person does not grasp, the other one may grasp by using a different method, thus adding our own individual learning styles into the group. We are all here online studying together. What I add to the conversation, someone else may not have thought of. So it takes all of us, learning together, covering all areas, discussing new ways and idea's to make this work.
