CheckPoint: Fostering Commitment
My personal goal is my personal goal I have been working towards since February. This is for my American Idol, and training by taking vocal coaching and singing with a choir to gain understanding.
My goal means a lot to me, because it has been a dream of mine to accomplish for myself.
My wants are to take serious my vocal coaching and choir, no matter how hard they are to understand or to commit to. I think the willing to want to do these are a big step for me to accomplishing my goal or obtaining it.
My personal goals for obtaining the main goal are my stage fright. I am working on gaining confidence. I plan to stay positive, and not let negativity or pressure control me and not let me reach my goal.
I would stay positive and allow situations to happen, because in doing so in the long run I may benefit from it. This can be to sing karaoke one night, when I do not like being dependent on words being feed to me, and the chance for someone to like me and want me to sing with them if they are a band.
All of the questions from the text help me refocus by understanding the ways of goals and priorities. I can see from answering the questions I am willing to put more effort into my goal, because I see how important the goal is. I do not have to rethink of change anything concerning my goals. My goal is fine the way it is and I am going to continue working hard on it.
