1. (200 to 300 words) Choose and discuss an idea from the Week 1 Lecture: Gender as a Research Variable, Similarity Blindness and Questioning Difference. I am choosing to talk about the fact that researchers haven’t made very much progress when using gender as the main variable. I don’t like to admit that before taking this class I didn’t much think about the research of gender differences. It just seemed to me that it was obvious that we were different than one another. I do feel that men and women are different from each other in regards to the gender of each but not because of the gender...
