After reading novel and watching movie “Contact” I definitely decided for myself that the most I like d actually the movie. I made this because from my point of view movie “Contact” introduced better than novel to the viewer because of three main statements: visual, faster process of event, better explanation of science. Not only did the film “Contact” succeed as a literal translation from the original novel, it actually surpassed it. This is because the film has a strong visual impact, it moves at a faster pace and the science is simplified. My point is to show the difference between movie and novel and also show how is the movie better that the novel.
Argument number one: Visual, movie
• Every scene represented in color with sound.
• Special effects represented as much as it possible
• Very interesting to watch science fictions with color and special effects.
• Scenes represented very good and understandable and interesting
• Everyone can easily understand what is happening in the story and fell every important second of plot
Argument number one: Visual, novel
• During reading the novel it is hard to imagine whole situation of an event.
• Special effects can’t be described during reading   the novel as much as it can be represented during   watching movie
• Sometimes it is hard to understand the details of a scene because of difficult language.
All this differences can be seen in the movie for example during watching the scene where mysterious machine was launched and Elly Arroway begins her journey to undiscovered world. With the help of color sound and special effects, it is so much easier to feel and understand the whole episode without any ”headache thinking” and dictionaries.
Argument number two: Pace scene, movie
• Length of movie is 2 hours and 20 minutes, authors of the movie put six hundredth pages book into movie without any loss of detail and shortcuts. This fact is very rare in modern...
