I watched the commercial ads from Progressive Auto Insurance and Wendy’s. I did not detect a secondary opinion in either of the ad. In the Wendy’s commercial ad they are just trying to get people to buy their fish sandwiches. Wendy’s is saying that their fish is top of the line fish and everyone should eat it. The Progressive commercial was really funny. It was talking about how your insurance gets better over time. So the longer you have the insurance the lower you premium get over time. I think that the effect that these ads have on people will be positive. People are going to want to try the new fish sandwich at Wendy’s just to see if it is better than it competition. I think people are also going to even if they do not buy the car insurance look into it. Many of their commercials attract people because of the humor.
I am not skeptical of the sources on the news clip. I believe that all were very credible including the wives of the men who died on 9/11. Plus this is something that actually happens in the United States and we have been searching for the man who plans the suicide bombing for years. I do not detect any bias. I feel that everyone was talking about their personal experience and what they went through.
This ads claim that Progressive auto insurance company is better than any other insurance. I think that people will enjoy the humor that the couple brought to the commercial. Progressive say that their insurance premiums do not go up it only gets better with time. It makes you look into getting this insurance company since they have so much to offer and the prices do not increase. I think that it target an existing desire. It is something people need. Plus the humor makes you want to get with this insurance company it catches your attention. They used older people and compared their premium to them. I would really look into getting this insurance because they use humor to get my attention. I probably would purchase the insurance from this ad....
