Death Row Inmate: Micheal Correll

In February of 1985, a man by the name of Micheal Correll was sentenced to death for the murders of three drug dealers.   On the evidence of only surviving witness, the state of Arizonia insisted that Micheal was guilty as charged.   On the night of the murder this withness was intoxicated as well as being under the effects of marijuana and cocaine.   In addition, the crime took place in the middle of the desert with a twenty-five ounce light bulb providing the only source of light.   Micael was appointed an uninterested attorney by the state of Arizonia.   Due to a complete lack of communication and effort on his attorney's part, Michael requested a new attorney.   All of his requests were denied.
Durring the trial itself, the State provided over two hundred pages of transcription against him while his defense transcript contained a mear twenty-seven pages.   His attorney called forth no witnesses and presented no evidence on his behalf.   The trial too three days to complete with his attorney just being relieve it was over.   Michael has hired a State Attorney in hopes of a retrial but no longer has enough money left from his Defense Fund Account.
Micheal Correll has been sitting on Death Row for thirteen years and is currently awaiting execution by the state of Arizonia via the electric chair.
