Deja Vu

As Edward and Alphonse Braun walked towards the door of Fuhrer Bradley’s office, they noticed a strange woman coming from the opposite direction. The nametag said J. Douglas, but the nametag didn’t seem to match the familiar face. But the Braun brothers had known that particular woman’s face all too well, they looked at each other with uncertain recognition.
“Ed…..it couldn’t possibly be-“
“No, Al. Leave it alone, I told you, we never bring it up again. We left our past in
Risembol, now enough of this, let’s see what the Fuhrer has to say this time.”
The Braun brothers walked into the office of Fuhrer Bradley, where it seemed to be a small house-sized room with a fire place to the right of the entrance, and the left wall was covered with books from floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall. Straight ahead from the entrance was a desk, and behind the desk, a handsome middle aged man with his dark black hair combed back, a thick mustache and a patch over his right eye.
“Edward! Alphonse! So great of you to meet me on such short notice. There has been an uprising in the Far East, Liorre to be exact, in the desert of   Israel. Now as it appears to me, you two were there three years ago where you unmasked the corruption of the city’s leader, Father Cornello-“
“But we saved that city! We exposed him for what he really was, a fake!”
“Yes Edward, but as true as this may be, the people there have been at each other’s throats since you two have left. So we need to respond quickly. I cannot allow another Ishbal Rebellion break out. I’ve sent in 15,000 troops, and I’m sending you and Alphonse to put it down quickly with minimal military casualties. Understood?”
“………..yes sir. Understood.”
“Good! Then I’ll make arrangements for you to leave immediately.”
“Sir!” Saluted the Braun brothers.
“Dismissed.”
