Different Types of Friendship
Friends are a part of my extended family.   They are important to me, and have made the independent woman I am today.   Friendship to me is like a flower that constantly needs watering for it to continue to stay healthy and keep blooming.   Just like the kind of relationship you would have with your significant other, meaning spouse, or simply your main squeeze.   As the years have gone by the more selective I’ve become of my friendships, and realize whom my true friends are. I have different types of friends all very different from each other. These are my best friends, hanging out friends, and clubbing friends.   I can be very spontaneous at times and like to try different things.   I’m what you call a trypolar.   It’s my own modified version of bipolar.   I don’t have that, but I do surround myself with all kinds of people and will try anything once if it
catches my attention.
My few selected friends that I consider my best friends are those that I’ve known for an extended period of time.   I was in the military for nine years.   I recently separated from active duty, and now I am currently in the reserves.   I’m still away from home and my family.   It’s definitely a way of life and takes some getting used to.   The best part about the military to me was all the different people I got to meet, and the long time friendships that I have created over the years.   It still amazes me today how we can all be so different as far as culture and background and still be so similar in so many ways.   For that I am thankful for my different types of friendship that have come to endure the test of time.   My best friends have gotten me over crucial times and most important have shared the most memorable fun moments in my life.   These friends are the people that really know who I am.   I can count these selected few in one hand.   These friends know every detail in my adventurous life.   I have childhood friends that fall into this category....
