Week 1 Assignment Computer Graphics Kristy Martin 01/09/2011
Computer graphics to me means a lot of things. The way pictures are designed on the computer, mega pixels, coloring, size, definition, everything that all goes into pictures. Another example of computer graphics is videos. There are many kinds of video types such as, animation, music, picture, cartoons and even personal videos. Each will have different graphics. When making a music video a lot of computer graphics are added to get different affects that go into the video. A good example of computer graphics for a video would be Bad Romance by Lady Gaga.

In a part of the video they had her standing there with all these crystals that were falling all around her. The crystals had to be computerized in there to make them look like they were falling all around her. Another part of the video there are flames from a fire behind her that also had to be computerized in. It’s a perfect example of computer graphics.
Animation is another example of computer graphics. Computer graphics is used for the process of animation. Any designer can take an image and animate it. Designers can also take an image and make into 3D. There is always a need for computer graphics. Without it we would not have good movies, videos, and cartoons to watch. We would not have beautiful pictures to look at and enjoy taking our own personal pictures and making them into something amazing.
Computer graphics is and always will be a never ending thing. We need it in almost any kind of job or even for enjoyment.
