Dilemma in life
I was presented with a tough choice in my senior year of junior high school. I had applied to all the tough high schools and had been admitted to Bayside high school, French Lewis high school, Hillcrest high school and some other school. I faced with the decision of where to go. I had not visited any of the schools except for Hillcrest high school, where I had been attending the pre-high school program for math during previous year. I was wrestling with the decision of whether to continue my studies strictly in math at Hillcrest high school or really diversify and go to Bayside high school which most people consider better than Hillcrest high school. I loved junior high school and the things I had participated in and was hoping to continue my dual lifestyle of academics at Bayside high school. The opportunity to go to the well known high school in Queens is exceptional and I knew how lucky I was to have been offered acceptances at so many places for a new immigrant like me. At the end, it really just came down to Bayside high school and Hillcrest high school.  
I debated for a long time where I should go. I called up people who were students at Bayside and Hillcrest high school and asked them a million questions hoping to gain an edge somewhere enough to give me a reason to go. My parents and I attended a meeting for freshman at Bayside high school but it did not make much of an impression on me at the time. I loved math so much but I also wanted to be able to continue my academic studies since I loved those as well. At the end, I finally decided   that, because I had committed my whole life to math thus far, it was only fair to myself and all the people who had supported me along the way that I continued at Hillcrest at least for a year to see where my goal took me. To the shock of many, I decided to go to Hillcrest high school. I felt like that I was the luckiest person in the world.
