Distance Learning
At first, my thoughts about distance learning were very negative. I did not think that a person can learn on the computer, what he can learn in a class. I was very skeptical of this program at first. I thought these online programs were scams, and complete waste of money.
When I started this program at the Axia College, I thought that I had no other options but to pursue distance learning path to education. I am a very active person, so it’s hard for me to find extra time lying around. I work full time as a long distance truck driver. I am in an enclosed far from home environment for three weeks out of a month. But I wanted an education, I wanted a career. So, knowing that there was no other option but to study on the web, I started my online schools research. The online program that I found here, at the Axia College was very convenient for me. I could work full time and strive for my degree. That is the main and probably only reason that I chose distance learning.
Now that I have started my classes I am excited. The online program is awesome. You really can learn everything. The quality of the software is incredible. The amounts of materials that are available to you are also impressive. You actually get to interact with your teacher and classmates! I can honestly say that I fell in love with this program.
